Woodbank awarded Robinsons Brewery contract

Woodbank Office Solutions has been chosen to supply printers and provide document management services to Robinsons Brewery.

Now completed, installations included the Brewery in central Stockport, the packaging plant in Bredbury, and Robinsons-managed houses across the whole of the North-West.

Simon Fuller, IT Infrastructure Service Manager at Robinsons said, “as a family-run business, we wanted to partner with someone with the same values and ethos. We wanted to speak to the owner, not just deal with a company that only wants numbers and figures. At Woodbank we spoke to Janet Bowden from the very start. We like that.

“The process was very easy and straight forward. Operationally no issues and integration were great. Woodbank technical guys are very experienced, and they knew what they were doing. We just left them to it. They do all the liaison and the training. Very efficient, very smooth.”

Like so many businesses, the challenge for Woodbank came when sorting the order for many machines over lockdown.  Supply chains were massively affected and getting machines was difficult. Owner of Woodbank, Janet Bowden’s long-standing relationship with Konica Minolta came into its own with both businesses pulling out all the stops to make sure the order was fulfilled so Woodbank could deliver on time.

Cameron Mitchell, Head of Sales at Konica Minolta added, “primarily you are dealing with a massive supply chain, particularly in the current climate. Making sure timescales are met is a priority for large jobs like Robinsons. Janet and her company are an important client of ours and as their product partner, we in turn were looking after a new and important client for them.”
