Westcon named Distribution Partner of the Year

Westcon UK&I has been named 'Distribution Partner of the Year' at Check Point UK's Partner Awards Gala. The annual awards programme recognises Westcon on its performance and dedication to growth for the security vendor and its channel partners. The awards were held virtually this year and were joined by special guest, former special forces soldier / C4 Who Dares Wins TV star, Ollie Ollerton.

The award for UK Distribution Partner of the Year follows Westcon's EMEA Distribution Partner of the Year award, but the UK business earned the award in its own right by investing in accreditations across the portfolio and delivering strong growth and new logo acquisition.

Martin Rutterford, Check Point Head of Managed Channel said, "as our Distribution Partner of the Year, Westcon delivered fantastic growth, and developed their in-house skills across all of our technical silos. Not only that but our Marketing Rock Star of the Year award went to Westcon's Sarah Feeney who continuously goes out of her way to create creative campaigns and is an absolute dream to work with. Congratulations."

Anthony Byford, Westcon Managing Director UK & I added, "We are absolutely delighted to win this award. The UK business has worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months and is very proud to have reached Check Point's business goals and objectives together. The award is a testament to the strong relationship we have fostered with the vendor over recent years and the execution of our aligned business goals. It's also a testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team to drive growth for Check Point and our channel partners.

"As a global distributor of Check Point's market-leading security portfolio, we are proud to have played an important role in supporting the vendor and our partners through such a disruptive time, and we are very proud to have been recognised for our efforts."
