Vivitek appoints new Key Account Manager, North England and Scotland

Vivitek, a provider of visual presentation and collaboration solutions, has appointed Peter Miller as Key Account Manager, North England, and Scotland.

Peter, who brings 22 years of AV experience to his new role, will be responsible for promoting the full range of Vivitek and Delta Display solutions by engaging regularly with Vivitek’s reseller/integrator partners. He will also assist projects through the provision of product details, pricing and demonstrations of Vivitek’s Novo Ecosystem and Digital Signage solutions. In addition to working closely with Vivitek’s distribution account managers, Peter will be present at roadshows hosted by Vivitek, as well as events arranged by Vivitek’s partners and AV industry trade shows. Peter’s role is effective immediately.

Previously, Peter held positions at Exertis UK and Medium UK, and as an experienced Business Development Manager, he already has close and long-standing relationships with Audio Visual Integrators and Resellers in Scotland and the north of England.

Peter said, “I have had the pleasure of working in the Audio Visual Industry in the UK for the past 22 years with the first 14 years as a reseller and the last eight years in Distribution. This has allowed me to gain extensive knowledge of AV technologies and enjoy strong relationships which I will continue to develop at Vivitek. I am very excited to start this new journey with Vivitek, promoting its comprehensive, high-quality portfolio while working with a fantastic and experienced team.”

Holger Graeff, General Manager, Vivitek EMEA (pictured) added, “We’re thrilled with the increasing demand that Vivitek’s solutions are enjoying across the United Kingdom. Therefore, we’re very happy to have Peter on board to channel his experience into meeting customers’ needs. Peter joins us with a wealth of experience from the AV channel and brings invaluable relationships with resellers in the north of England and Scotland, and he’ll be central to realising our growth plans in those regions. Despite the challenges last year presented, Vivitek enjoyed strong sales in 2021 and Peter’s appointment this year will help us to continue to grow by providing additional focus and attention at the reseller level.”

Industrial automation makes way for information automation
Today, most manufacturing processes are automated on some level, and only growing more so. But can the same be said for our cognitive activities and information-related processes? Collecting, analysing, and extracting value from data is surely the next step in optimising industrial processes, yet the way it is currently treated in terms of technological investment and prioritisation would suggest otherwise. This is according to Jason Chester, Director of Global Channel Programs, InfinityQS.
