The annual Climb of Life, a fundraiser for cancer research and the brainchild of Graeme Chapman MBE has had to be cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
In its place, budding participants are urged during the course of Friday the 6th, Saturday the 7th or the morning of Sunday the 8th November, to walk around 20km, roughly the same distance from the lowest point on the planet, the Mariana Trench, to the highest, the top of Everest.
In order to raise money that would be lost this year, organisers are asking participants to be sponsored by friends and family. The money raised will go to the Institute of Cancer Research for much-needed funding into finding treatments and cures for cancer.
To register, please email email@example.com with “I’m Tip Top” in the heading and join in the online CoL 2020 celebration party on Sunday 8th November at 5.30 pm. Details to follow.
