Tech Data has extended its NAS portfolio by signing a distribution partnership with QNAP, a provider of business-class, network-attached storage (NAS) devices. The agreement gives partners an additional set of NAS options to take to mid-range and enterprise customers who need fast, efficient, and easy-to-deploy storage solutions.
It gives QNAP partners in the UK access to Tech Data’s specialist support, stockholding, finance, online systems, and logistics capabilities. This will enable them to maximise their opportunities with the QNAP range according to Adam Lee, Business Unit Manager, Global Computing Components (GCC), Europe, Tech Data.
Adam said, “with the boom in hybrid and home working, demand for enterprise-class storage solutions that are quick and easy to deploy and manage has been escalating. QNAP has a great reputation and is a valuable addition to our portfolio. It means we can offer our partners more NAS options and that they, in turn, can extend their reach and potential with NAS. It’s a great opportunity, both for current partners and those who are new to QNAP.”
Posen Wang, UK Country Head, QNAP added, “Tech Data has a tremendous reputation and reach in the business market. This partnership will give our existing partners access to its extensive services and capabilities and provide many more resellers with the opportunity to take QNAP’s industry-leading NAS solutions to market.”
Tech Data and QNAP will be working together to meet all the needs of partners. A programme of online events and information, to onboard new partners and support sales activity, is currently being put together by the GCC team at Tech Data.
