Tech Data and NVIDIA announce European agreement

Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, has announced a European distribution agreement with NVIDIA, experts in accelerated computing. This extends an existing agreement, in which Tech Data offers NVIDIA Networking solutions across the region, to now include NVIDIA hardware, the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite and NVIDIA DGX systems, as well as the NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise platform.

NVIDIA AI Enterprise is an end-to-end, cloud-native suite of AI and data analytics software that is optimised, certified, and supported to run on VMware vSphere with NVIDIA-Certified Systems. NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise is an extensible, open platform built for 3D design collaboration and real-time physically accurate simulation, enabling users to connect major 3D design tools, assets, and people in a shared virtual space.

The agreement also adds NVIDIA DGX systems, enabling businesses to scale AI development with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. Tech Data will reinforce its NVIDIA offerings with a range of professional and managed services and will leverage its own Solution Factory methodology to develop customised solutions with NVIDIA products at the core for a variety of vertical use cases. Furthermore, Tech Data will offer its partners the opportunity to accelerate their expertise and business readiness through its Practice Builder programs.

Practice Builder provides a structured path – including business maturity assessment, training, and solution development – to enable partners to develop their own next-generation solutions practices, offering access to knowledge and skills development resources. These programs are delivered as online enablement paths and include various elements, such as virtual strategy development workshops, supported by the solution practice mentors.

Miriam Murphy, Senior Vice President, Advanced and Specialised Solutions, Europe, at Tech Data said, “it’s hugely exciting to extend our NVIDIA offering to cover the full solution stack and to have the opportunity to incorporate NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI and Omniverse simulation technology into the solutions that we develop for our ecosystem partners. AI is fast becoming a vital ingredient for enterprises, governments, and other public institutions in the race to leverage data to enhance efficiency, make better decisions and make the world safer. Meanwhile, platforms that enable digital twins and virtual worlds like Omniverse Enterprise are set to fundamentally transform the way that societies interact, collaborate, and create. There is no better time for our partners to engage in this growth area for technology.”

Hugo Graça, Vice President, Global Computing Components, Europe at Tech Data added, “NVIDIA’s pioneering offerings such as NVIDIA DGX systems address the demand for deep learning and analytics by delivering groundbreaking AI supercomputing performance and faster insights with an end-to-end portfolio of enterprise systems, supported by tools that go from the desk to the data centre and to the cloud. We look forward to extending NVIDIA’s reach across our channel ecosystem and helping partners to improve their time to market with Tech Data’s extensive portfolio of complementary off-the-shelf components, pre-sales engineering teams, solution factory and integration services.”

NVIDIA products and services are now available to Tech Data partners in the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Baltics and Southeast Europe.
