Superstat announces Showcase sponsor

Superstat has announced that Exertis Supplies will be the main sponsor of its Showcase event taking place this July for the second year running.

The theme of the one-day event is Elevate and will give dealers the opportunity to take time out of their business to meet key suppliers, network with their peers, and focus on how they want to progress their business over the next 12 months. Sessions for the day include pioneering RAF Pilot and Motivational Speaker Mandy Hixon, Creating a Successful Sustainability Strategy to keep and win business, and a prospecting masterclass.

Over 25 suppliers from all major categories including workwear, janitorial, furniture, technology, IT, and office supplies will be exhibiting giving dealers and their teams the chance to see new products, connect with new suppliers and consider where their next opportunities may lie.

Alex Dunn, Superstat’s MD said, “We are immensely proud of our showcase and thank all our exhibitors for supporting our members again this year. To welcome back Exertis Supplies as our key sponsor for the second year running is testimony to the strength of the relationship our two organisations have, and we very much look forward to welcoming Exertis’ Andrew Beaumont on stage as he shares his plans.”

The event takes place on Thursday 7th July at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel.

Industrial automation makes way for information automation
Today, most manufacturing processes are automated on some level, and only growing more so. But can the same be said for our cognitive activities and information-related processes? Collecting, analysing, and extracting value from data is surely the next step in optimising industrial processes, yet the way it is currently treated in terms of technological investment and prioritisation would suggest otherwise. This is according to Jason Chester, Director of Global Channel Programs, InfinityQS.
