Print-Rite Europe Limited forms alliance with DeLace Pty Ltd

Print-Rite Europe Limited has announced a formal alliance with DeLace Pty Ltd South Africa and has appointed the company as an authorised non-exclusive distributor for both Print-Rite and Pelikan branded printing consumables for Africa and the Middle East. This will provide local sales and marketing support for dealers and resellers.

The Pelikan brand delivers high quality and high levels of brand recognition with end-users and dealers across Western Europe, the Americas, and several other major regions. The brand itself was established in 1838, and has become synonymous with reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness. The brand is unique in that it has instant end-user recognition and has a passionate following.

Steve Weedon, Pelikan CEO said, "DeLace Pty Ltd may be a new company but we have had a business relationship with the owners for decades. Highly trusted and regarded, it's good to work with people who have the same drive, passion and enthusiasm as we do to make the Pelikan brand for imaging consumables an African success."

Stuart Lacey, Managing Director at Delace added, "We are delighted to be partnering with PRE and PRPS for the Pelikan branded product range and see this as a huge opportunity to offer dealers and resellers a superior product at a saving compared to the OEM, whilst generating increased margins for them. The Bio based cartridges add an extra dimension and this remarkable product is a game-changer, partly because they are eco-friendly and reduce CO2 footprint, but also because they are designed to be remanufactured.  This is a particularly important part of our strategy for the future, and will allow us to help create considerable opportunities to re-establish local manufacturing across the continent …"

Therefore, it’s unsurprising that improving mental health has become a key focus for senior leaders.

Industrial automation makes way for information automation
Today, most manufacturing processes are automated on some level, and only growing more so. But can the same be said for our cognitive activities and information-related processes? Collecting, analysing, and extracting value from data is surely the next step in optimising industrial processes, yet the way it is currently treated in terms of technological investment and prioritisation would suggest otherwise. This is according to Jason Chester, Director of Global Channel Programs, InfinityQS.
