Premier becomes UPM Finesse, UPM Digi Finesse & UPM Fine stockist

UPM Finesse, UPM Digi Finesse and UPM Fine ranges are now available from Premier Paper.

In 2019 Premier became part of OVOL Japan Pulp and Paper. Supplying UPM Finesse and UPM Fine ranges through Premier was a logical step for UPM as it further builds its global reach through its key customer.

With the Lumi sheet being discontinued at the end of 2020, Premier took the opportunity to critically consider what its coated offer should look like for the future as demand for coated papers is changing and so are the service needs of customers and the wider market as a whole.

Available in both gloss and silk finishes across a choice of sizes and weights, UPM Finesse is suitable for advertising material, annual reports, art books, brochures, business cards, catalogues, direct mail, high-quality magazines, inserts, magazine covers, newsletter, and posters.

UPM Digi Finesse is also part of the range and is optimised for use on sheet fed digital presses using dry toner electrophotography technology as well as being certified for use on HP Indigo presses.

Dave Jones, Premier Paper's Marketing Director said, "UPM Finesse, Digi Finesse and Fine are excellent, well-recognised brands throughout the world and the addition of these grades to our portfolio allows us to offer next day availability to customers across the UK. Introducing these ranges is a very positive move for Premier and a direct benefit of the strong relationship between UPM and our parent company. We are always looking to offer the widest choice of top brands to the market, together with the Premier Service."

Premier has added UPM Fine to its uncoated product portfolio. UPM Fine is a range of wood-free uncoated paper and board that combines a high whiteness and brightness with optimal opacity and printability; to deliver outstanding results time and again. UPM Fine is a flexible, multi-use paper that is suitable for an array of applications and end-uses such as promotional flyers, business reports, magazines and posters to name but a few.

UPM has invested in renewable energy and a number of other initiatives to help reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, the CO2 emissions from purchases of UPM Finesse, UPM Digi Finesse and UPM Fine can all be mitigated through Premier's Carbon Capture programme that directly supports the work of the Woodland Trust.

UPM Finesse, UPM Digi Finesse and UPM Fine are all available for next day delivery throughout the UK from Premier's network of nationwide, stockholding branches; dedicated swatches and samples are also available.
