Polaroid is making the most of this year CES trade show by launching a host of new products and a completion to win one of their new 3D printers.
The Polaroid ModelSmart 250S 3D printer will be showcased alongside the 'How Polaroid Are You?' pixel challenge, encouraging visitors to solve a puzzle made up of 3D printed shapes that combine to form a 3D interpretation of the Polaroid & Pixel logo. The challenge is hoping to evoke a spectrum of emotions and participants' videos will be tagged with @sopolaroid3d or #sopolaroid3d.
Amy Horn, Category Director at London-based EBP Group (Manufacturer of the Polaroid 3D printer and consumables range) said, "the 'How Polaroid Are You?' challenge is fun, extremely sociable and creates an enormous buzz once you've become 'So Polaroid'."
Alongside the best-in-class 3D printer, visitors will also experience the next generation instant print camera, the Polaroid Snap+; the first line of Polaroid drones available in Europe with a HD camera and WiFi; the first line up of Polaroid 4K UHD LED connected TVs plus two new smartphone models for the US, the Polaroid Power and Polaroid Snap.
Scott W Hardy, President and CEO of Polaroid said, "this years' CES marks the debut of an array of exciting new products, from instant print cameras and smartphone to 3D printers and drones. All of these products embody the Polaroid core values of instant sharing, fun, ease-of-use ad accessibility, offering consumers a truly unique line of products and services that are distinctly Polaroid."
Although many new products will be showcased at the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas this week, emphasis will ultimately focus on their 3D printer, available from early 2016 in 15 European counties, offering 3D printing from your home.
