• PFU partners with UiPath to deliver RPA document capture integration

        • PFU (EMEA) Limited has announced an innovative partnership with UiPath, the enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, to enable the end-to-end automation of paperwork processes.

The integration between UiPath’s RPA software and Easy NX Connect for Paperstream NX Manager, a server-based software solution built for the cloud, enables organisations to implement intelligent automation solutions to process documents between software-as-a-service solutions and a Fujitsu fi-7300NX scanner.

The UiPath Automation Platform is helping organisations around the world become faster and more agile in the face of increased demand and rapidly changing environments. It addresses the automation lifecycle by leveraging process discovery tools and employee crowdsourcing to determine what to automate, which is key to scaling automation across the enterprise with speed and efficiency. This pervasive ‘automation first’ approach is proven to be both substantial and transformative and is allowing everyone – from RPA Developers and Testers to Citizen Developers and Business End Users – to collaborate and put automation squarely at the core of everyday work.

Mike Nelson, Senior Vice President, PFU (EMEA) Limited said, “As organisations look to digitally transform and give time back to their staff to focus on complex tasks, they need solutions that enable them to embrace Organisational Intelligence and provide a bridge between the physical and digital world. By partnering with UiPath and integrating Easy NX Connect for Paperstream NX Manager, organisations can embrace intelligent working practices, and avoid manually processing that next document. With intelligent RPA software, whenever users scan using a UiPath-enabled fi-7300NX their documents can be checked, read, and processed, providing an end-to-end image capture and management service.”

The integration provides an advanced and intelligent solution that is easy to use and implement. Documents can be scanned and processed at the push of a button by the Fujitsu fi-7300NX and UiPath’s Orchestrator automation application. Installation is simple and doesn’t require an expert to complete, available to be deployed as a standalone PC-less solution. Collaboration is also simple; with Easy NX Connect for Paperstream NX Manager, individual employee access can be provided via a single shared fi-7300NX device. Employees sign in and can scan jobs that are automatically actioned by UiPath’s RPA software.

Customers will be able to experience the technology virtually and physically through the UiPath Immersion Lab. The fi-7300NX will provide a demonstration of how capture and hyper-automation technology can provide high-performance solutions such as invoice and order processing linked to ERP systems like SAP and Salesforce.

Boris Krumrey, VP of Automation Innovations at UiPath and the architect of the UiPath Immersion Lab project added, “We know capture is a key component in any digital transformation process. We’re pleased to be showcasing our collaboration with PFU (EMEA) Limited in our Immersion Lab, providing customers with the opportunity to understand and experience the collective power of document capture technologies like the fi-7300NX, Easy NX Connect for Paperstream NX Manager and UiPath Automation Platform to process and consolidate data currently locked in the physical world.”

The partnership will further strengthen Fujitsu’s Diamond Partnership status with UiPath.
