PAE Business raises £12,000 for charity in cycling challenge

The 2016 PAE Cycling Challenge, an event organised and supported by Print Audit Europe (PAE) has raised £12192.15 for charity, with donations still coming in.

The group of six cyclists in this year's team covered the 1002 miles between the Channel port of St Malo and the Mediterranean resort of Nice in 14 days. The ascent recorded was over 41000 feet which is the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis 10 times.

PAE's Managing Director Phil Madders said he was very grateful for all the support the team had received from customers, suppliers, and friends.

He added, "they were all incredibly generous, both in their financial and moral support. As a team, we enormously benefitted from the encouragement we received via Social Media, email, and text messages. And the money our ride managed to raise, absolutely fantastic! So again, a huge thank you to everyone who opened their hearts and wallets."

The charities that benefited from the 2016 bike ride are, MS Society, Cancer Research, Bloodwise, Alzheimer's Research UK, and Woking Hospice.

This year's tour was the 4th event supported by PAE and the total raised so far for charity is £37,153.00.
