OKI Europe (UK & Ireland) is to become part of a new concept in exhibitions and trade shows. In a new partnership deal with Newtech part of Coactive Events, an organiser of collaborative trade events, OKI will take part in a series of alternative, highly-targeted shows across the country for customers and prospects.
Newtech gives selected specialised providers a chance to engage in face-to-face meetings in at venues located in ten centres of the printing industry across the UK. OKI will concentrate its efforts in two different areas; it will be showcasing both its ColorPainter series of wide format printers and its Pro9 Envelope Print System.
Martin Morrissey, Coactive Managing Director said, "our events spotlight selected areas of printing and our current focus is on personalisation. We foresee particular interest in these two areas from established printing and graphics businesses seeking to open up new revenue streams."
OKI's ColorPainter E-64s offers print businesses wide-format printing on a large spectrum of media, which may have previously been unattainable. Using OKI's ECO solvent SX ink, these printers are suitable for both high-quality indoor and extra durable outdoor applications.
OKI's Envelope Print System enables users of OKI's Pro9 Series Graphic Arts printers with the scope to differentiate their business on two counts. First, it enables short runs of variable data envelope printing in less time than it takes to produce printing plates and ink up a press and without any set-up costs. Second, the Pro9542 Envelope System offers white and colour on colour envelopes with 'eye-catching' results.
Andrew Hall, Marketing Manager OKI EUROPE (UK & IRELAND) added, "we feel sure that this new style of small but focused exhibition will give us an opportunity to show how we can help current and prospective customers to diversify into profitable new areas. We're delighted to be part of this innovative format and look forward to a long successful partnership with Newtech."
