Nimans has added a new name to its expanding network infrastructure portfolio to offer resellers a ‘gateway’ into the latest integrated connectivity solutions, blending analogue and digital communications with the latest SIP platforms.
Sangoma’s VoIP gateways connect legacy analogue and ISDN telephony systems to IP networks to provide all the benefits of SIP without the associated installation costs.
Judith Addison, Nimans’ Business Manager (Networking) said, “this is great for businesses with legacy phone equipment (such as an analogue PBX) who want to connect to SIP trunking services without having to spend money ripping out their existing phone systems.
“In addition, Sangoma’s Vega gateways are also great for businesses that are already VoIP enabled at the core (with an IP-PBX) that need PSTN connectivity for emergency fallback. Simply place a Vega VoIP Analog Gateway at the edge of a network, plug in an existing internet cable for VoIP connectivity and analogue cables from the phone system and let the Vega automatically handle the SIP signalling and voice media conversion for seamless voice and fax integration.”
The Vega 60 FXS for example is available in a 4-port or 8-port versions and can handle up to 8 simultaneous calls. It supports SIP, T.38 fax and modems, boasts a WebGUI for configuration and troubleshooting, featuring Quick Wizard for rapid deployment and is also interoperable with most legacy and VoIP carriers worldwide.
Richard Smith, Sangoma’s UK and Ireland Sales Director added, “Sangoma is a global leader in UC and UCaaS solutions and our smart VoIP gateways are a further evolution of our renowned technical capabilities. Nimans is providing its extensive customer base with access to our latest gateway solutions that blend TDM systems with SIP-based connectivity so resellers can capture greater levels of business in a very innovative and powerful way.”
