Panasonic has announced the availability of its next-generation Panasonic DECT Handsets.
The KX-TPA70 and KX-TPA73 handsets, for use with the Panasonic KX-TGP600 Base Station ecosystem boast a clear colour interface and streamlined and intuitive functionality. The handsets are suitable for use in the retail, hospitality and health sectors in small businesses.
Raphael Studer, European Business Development Manager for Panasonic Communication Solutions Division said, “after extensive research with business users and telecommunication carriers we have developed the next generation of DECT handset with an entirely new interface designed to allow the user to take advantage of latest functionality in a fast and intuitive manner.”
The user interface has a clear colour, high visibility design, consistent key behaviour and an intuitive menu structure and icons for easy use and transfer of calls. The handsets also feature a Hot Dial Button that can be used to quickly call a predefined number or be used as a call for assistance button, for example, in a retail scenario.
The handsets come with a swivel or regular belt clip as well as 3.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth connectivity for easy use by mobile workers. Designed to give a crystal-clear audio experience in even the noisiest of setting, the handsets also have a voice equaliser feature.
Silicon handset sleeves and charger cradle covers are available to ensure protection and easy cleaning in areas such as restaurants and bars, retail stores and health surgeries like doctors and dentists, where spillages, dust and debris are common.
The Advanced KX-TPA73 handset offers 400-hour Standby time, 20-hour talk time and 3-hour quick charge time. The Basic KX-TPA70 handset delivers 200 hours Standby time, 11 hours talk time and 6 hours charge time.
The new handsets set the benchmark in single-cell SIP DECT and provide additional options to Panasonic’s KX-TGP600 ecosystem, which offers up to 8 calls, handsets and SIP accounts, a variety of cordless deskphones and handsets and a repeater for easy coverage expansion, as well as easy set-up and maintenance.
