Masterclass announced for BOSS Leaders of the Future Conference

The BOSS LOTF Committee has announced its next in-person conference on 26th April, hosted by 3M at its premises in Bracknell. All attendees will tour 3M's Innovation Centre.

Dale Carnegie, one of the world’s top 20 best companies for Sales and Leadership Training, and publishers of the book ‘How to win Friends and Influence People’ will be running a leadership masterclass in emotional intelligence. During this session, Dale Carnegie will facilitate a fast-paced, interactive session that will give the delegates practical tools they can apply back in their day-to-day roles. The session will focus on the below key areas.

Explore emotionally intelligent leadership through authenticity and engagement:

  • Adjust the way you approach others to support a vibrant work culture
  • Apply principles that build trust and rapport in professional relationships
  • Identify opportunities to improve relationships with team members and key stakeholders

Learn how to disagree agreeably when innovating:

  • Identify personal hot buttons and their role in disagreements
  • Give others the benefit of the doubt
  • Moderate opinions to open to potentially great ideas
  • Apply techniques that empower team members to disagree diplomatically

Having difficult conversations:

  • Learn how to address mistakes in a constructive, not demoralising manner.
  • Follow a process on how to have difficult conversations
  • Maintain the relationship with colleagues and suppliers when difficult situations arise.

In the afternoon prominent leaders from the industry will discuss how businesses evolve through innovation through keynote speeches and an interactive panel session.
