Konica Minolta appoints new Head of IT Services

Konica Minolta Business Solutions has appointed Russell Palmer as its new Head of IT Services. Russell joins Konica Minolta with a history of building sales teams, culture, and performance for B2B SaaS companies around the world, with prominent roles at organisations such as Microsoft and IBM.

IT Services is a core division of Konica Minolta and a key focus for its operations both in the UK and internationally. Comprising local experts and a pool of international specialists, Konica Minolta delivers multi-disciplinary professional resources, whilst offering a localised service.

Mark Ash, Chief Revenue Officer at Konica Minolta Business Solutions said, “Russell is exactly the professional we have been looking for to head up our IT Services offering. He has a proven track record of working both within start-ups and some of the largest tech companies in existence, demonstrating a firm understanding of the challenges and opportunities for both large-scale providers and the customers that rely upon them.”

Russell added, “as the move towards cloud services and SaaS increases in volume and pace, businesses and public organisations are looking for partners that can help them make the transition and free them to focus on their core competencies. Konica Minolta is ideally placed as such a partner with the right technology partners and service offerings. My role is to strategically build further success, to nurture Konica Minolta’s winning formula, and continue delivering the service and value our customers need and deserve.”
