Konftel rolls out OneTimePIM solution for customers

Konftel is set to deliver a better customer experience across multiple channels following the implementation of a Product Information Management (PIM) solution from OneTimePIM.

Konftel is a collaboration endpoint solution vendor based in Sweden offering its audio and video conference solutions through a global network of distributors and resellers with no direct sales. Its aim is to deliver enhanced levels of detailed product content and specifications for end-users, dealers, and distributors alike. The implementation of OneTimePIM will enable the company to provide more accurate, speedy, and up-to-date information on its growing product portfolio, all from a central internal resource.

Dr. Pat Violaris, Managing Director at OneTimePIM said, “in today’s world access to accurate product information is essential otherwise customers and indeed dealers will look elsewhere. Our solution will deliver a comprehensive experience essential to maximising customer satisfaction, based on rich product information and better-quality access all from a central data repository.”

PIM refers to the process of handling all the data, content, and other material that you need to market and sell products. PIM also ensures that quality data is created for internal use and multichannel distribution.

Marinette Isaksson, Channel Marketing Manager at Konftel AB said, “our decision to implement OneTimePIM was based on our belief it is the optimum solution for us to succinctly store and share product content across different channel partners, languages, and routes to a global market.

“Customer satisfaction is in our lifeblood and therefore being able to deliver up-to-date product information is critical. OneTimePIM will therefore guarantee that the data we provide to channel partners is not just available, but reliable - and deliver operational efficiencies and time savings. We want to streamline the process, set up pre-defined formats, and speed up the whole operation. It’s also important to feed the right data to other content management platforms.

“The opportunity, as a next step, to be able to streamline and quality assure the content on our website and product information sheets also influenced our choice. We need to have a strong and streamlined structure in place to meet our needs both now and in the future.”

Dr. Violaris added, “B2B buyers are highly valued but the buying process requires more high-quality, in-depth information and interactions to convey the product's value. A business also takes more logistical steps in making a buying decision than a consumer does for consumer products and more decision-makers are involved. As a result, PIM needs to act simultaneously both as a data reservoir and content management tool. OneTimePIM will be delivering this for Konftel throughout its implementation, aiming to drive not just increased sales, but help the vendor grow its international footprint through its dealer network.”
