• Julie Hawley to leave Office Friendly

        • Julie Hawley is to leave her role as Office Friendly’s Managing Director at the end of April to take the Executive Director of Finance role at Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO). 

          Julie joined Office Friendly in 2006 after leaving Kingfield Heath where she had a senior role in finance. She was promoted to Managing Director five years ago and has overseen a huge turnaround in the fortunes of the Sheffield based Dealer Group. 

          Julie said, “I have spent 15 great years at Office Friendly and this has not been an easy decision to make, however, I leave the business in rude health. I am first and foremost from a finance background and this opportunity was too good to turn down. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved at Office Friendly and I would like to thank the team, members, board and Chairman for all their wonderful support in my time with the company.”

          Gordon Profit, Office Friendly Chairman added, “as a board, we are really disappointed Julie is leaving us but understand her reasons and we wish her every success in her new role. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank her for the fantastic job she has done as Finance Director but especially as Managing Director. She came into the role at a very difficult time and has led the team and turned the business into the robust, market-leading group it now is.” 

          Gordon Profit will lead the team on a temporary basis until a permanent replacement is selected.
