Integrity360 launches Managed Varonis Data Security Service

Integrity360, cyber security services specialists, together with its partner Varonis, has announced the launch of its Managed Varonis Data Security Service to help organisations using Varonis secure their critical information using automation that enforces Zero Trust, tackles privacy and compliance tasks, and detects modern attacks by putting data first.

The new service provides management and support for IT and security teams using Varonis for data protection, threat detection and response, and privacy and compliance.

The Varonis Data Security Platform provides complete visibility and control over critical data and IT infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Ahmed Aburahal, Technical Product Manager at Integrity360 said, “We’ve partnered with Varonis, the pioneer in data security and analytics, to provide a service that allows organisations to adopt a data-centric security model. By combining forces with Varonis, Integrity360 can help our joint customers gain unprecedented data visibility and data access control, streamline compliance, and automate data governance policies, with 24/7 security detection and response.”

Varonis connects to the applications, services, and data stores where data lives to combine, correlate and analyse metadata across three key dimensions: data sensitivity, users’ permissions, and data access activity.

By building a baseline behaviour profile for every user and utilising machine learning threat models, Varonis detects attacks based on real-world techniques spanning the cyber kill chain. Moving beyond detection and elimination, the Varonis Data Security Platform then executes damage control via open access remediation, Zero-Trust data security, and data access governance.

Ahmed added, “digital transformation has been fast-tracked in the last few years with the soaring use of online collaboration tools, expedited cloud adoption, and the rise of remote/hybrid work models. As the way we do business changes, the way data is stored, moved, and accessed also changes. Traditional network defences are no longer enough to stop the next ransomware or data exfiltration attack. Enterprises’ data is everywhere – SaaS, cloud storage, file servers – which makes it practically impossible to find, classify, control, or protect with manual methods. On top of that, the gap in cyber skills is just getting bigger, demanding smarter and more efficient solutions that put data security on auto-pilot, enabling IT and security teams to focus on policies and architecture whilst leaving the repetitive tasks to the power of automation.”
