Exertis has announced the availability of the NEC InfinityBoard, an all-in-one collaboration solution combining an ultra-high-definition InGlass touch display, camera, speakers and software tools in one device. The InfinityBoard is open, modular and software agnostic, allowing organisations to use any VC platform of their choices such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
The NEC InfinityBoard is designed to fit any meeting room and collaborative scenario with a choice of screen sizes from 65” to 86”. It comes with an ultra-high-definition InGlass touch display and two passive pens. Its design also includes an ultra-wide angle Huddly video conferencing camera and high-end conference speakers. The combination of an open platform and a PC with Windows 10 Professional installed means the solution can be tailored according to the customers' requirements without restriction to any particular software, video conferencing app, operating platform or infrastructure. In addition, an integrated slot-in PC can easily be upgraded at any time, thereby future-proofing the investment and offering a compellingly low TCO.
Ian Neale, Exertis Pro AV, General Manager said, “we are delighted to be able to offer our resellers the NEC InfinityBoard which fits perfectly with our collaboration solutions strategy that we showcased at our successful Plug In To Exertis Pro AV event. The choice of screen size, professional look and hardware technology fit perfectly into our ethos of providing truly easy to use solutions for modern, collaborative workplaces. The incorporation of such great innovative camera technology that truly enhances the user experience, and the open platform to incorporate video applications of your choice, make this a great solution for our resellers who recognise the market demand for agile ‘walk up and use’ meeting solutions.”
Alongside the InfinityBoard, NEC’s wide portfolio of collaborative touch solutions includes the ShadowSense touch SST Series and the new CB Series of Collaboration Boards, providing the perfect fit solution whatever the requirement, from entry-level whiteboarding to global video conferencing.
Mark Taylor, Solutions Manager, NEC Display Solutions added, “through our partnership with Exertis, our customers benefit from full access to our entire product range including our interactive and collaborative solutions. NEC’s modular approach brings all the flexibility and choice our customers need and Exertis provides all the disciplines required to ensure they are received in complete confidence and perfectly tailored to that need. As the industry evolves, Exertis is well placed to provide enhanced services across its UC, Comms and ProAV teams, vital for the successful implementation of unified technology in today’s workspaces and where NEC provides the crucial interface.”
