Epson Europe appoints Vice President of Business Sales

Darren Phelps has been appointed Vice President of Business Sales within Europe, leading the business unit and overseeing the expansion of business inkjet and scan products. 

Darren's appointment strengthens Epson's continued focus on driving the shift from laser to business inkjet printing, as well as its commitment to a 100 per cent indirect business sales model.

Darren, who led Epson's recent re-vamp and expansion of its channel partner programme to offer additional value to resellers of Epson business printers, scanners and displays, is credited with driving a 62 per cent increase in partners working alongside the brand.

Simplifying the sales model for business print remains a key priority for Epson as it seeks to grow across the EMEA region.

Over half a billion euros have been invested in the development and distribution of Epson business inkjet technology over recent years, as well as strengthening the EMEA sales support team to better aid channel partners. Epson's revised Partner Programme further adds to this, along with its move to strengthen its leadership team.

Darren said, "our 100 per cent commitment to the channel and simplified sales model, along with the cost-saving and environmental benefits of our technologies make us a reliable partner for the channel, able to add value and offer support. My aim is to further strengthen these relationships, to drive growth for both us and our partners."
