Dynabook launches new 13” device, the Satellite Pro C30-K

Dynabook Europe has announced the arrival of the ultra-mobile 13.3-inch Satellite Pro C30-K. Powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and with a focus on an affordable price point, the Satellite Pro C30-K is suitable for the SMB and education markets.

The Satellite Pro C30-K has been built with a modern design, finished in a dark blue colour, to appeal to today’s professionals or students, whether in the office, at home, in the classroom, or on the move. The new device boasts a slimline and lightweight build with a slender aluminium frame, measuring 15.95mm high and weighs 1.16kg, to maximise mobility. For peace of mind and safe usage, the chassis, keyboard, and clickpad have been treated with an antibacterial coating to reduce the spread of potentially harmful bacteria by up to 99.9 per cent.

Damian Jaume, President, Dynabook Europe GmbH said, “we’re excited to introduce the first 13” device to our Satellite Pro C-Series, to continue delivering cutting-edge technology and design at a great price point. The new C30-K proves that entry-level devices can be stylish, feature-packed, and of great quality, without paying a premium price tag. With the new lightweight design, it offers excellent mobility for working on the move, providing an ideal option to help professionals and students stay secure, connected, and productive no matter where they’re working or studying.”

Compatible with either Windows 10 or 11, the C30-K comes with enhanced performance and a variety of connectivity capabilities. The latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors are coupled with DDR4 3200MHz memory up to 32GB and PCIe SSD storage options up to 1TB. The device is also equipped with either LI-Po 3-45Wh or 4-cell 53Wh batteries to deliver nearly ten hours of battery life.

The C30-K delivers on remote experience with audio-visual tools and conferencing buttons on the ergonomic keyboard to connect with colleagues, students, and peers. An anti-glare HD or FHD screen provides an immersive full-screen experience with the display size optimised through a thin bezel design. The LCD can be opened to 180 degrees to easily share content with participants during a meeting and the HD webcam is accompanied by stereo speakers for crisp and clear videoconferencing. An external headphone/microphone slot provides the option to plug in when needed. Furthermore, inbuilt Realtek AI noise reduction removes unwanted background sounds for both the user and other meeting participants.

With security being front of mind for many businesses and educational institutions, the new Satellite Pro C30-K features firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0 so information is encrypted on the device. Robust biometric authentication is available in the form of an optional integrated face authentication camera.

The new Satellite Pro C30-K will be available later this month.
