DSales launches new Develop colour production print systems

PRODUCT NEWS:

DSales (UK) Ltd, the UK distributor for the Develop range of multifunctional document imaging systems, has launched the ineo+ 2060 and 2070 colour production print systems, aimed at pay-for-print providers and the in-house print room market.

The new ineo+ 2060 and 2070 boast print speeds of up to 61 and 71 pages per minute respectively for colour or black-and-white output with an impressive maximum input capacity of up to 7,500 sheets.

Jonathan Whitworth, Managing Director for DSales (UK) said, "the significant enhancements offered by these new production print systems ensure that Develop continues to offer the commercial digital print and in-house production sectors cutting edge technology at cost-effective prices. The ability to handle media up to 350gsm in weight and SRA3+ in size means these systems can fulfil almost any print job requirement. And the simplicity of operation allows non-technical staff to be easily trained to manage sophisticated print jobs. This makes the ineo+ 2060 and 2070 ideal for print-on-demand applications and variable data output which customers increasingly require."

The ineo+ 2060 and 2070 can be configured to support various media types of up to 350gsm in simplex and duplex mode. A new large-capacity banner tray enables banners of up to 750 by 330mm to be printed efficiently, for jobs like book covers and triple-fold menus. As the printing speed for C5 envelopes (70 per minute) is also twice that of the previous model, envelope printing is now a more profitable option. The large-capacity output tray is big enough for 3,000 A4 pages and 300 banners for high-volume print jobs.

The ineo+ 2060 and 2070 also feature a new colour dual scanner running at up to 240ipm with a double-feed detection kit to help prevent multi-feeds. In common with the entire Develop professional production print system range, the ineo+ 2060 and 2070 offer a flexible choice of finishing options including large capacity stacker, hole punching, folding, stapling, saddle stitching and perfect binding.

Image quality features a 1,200 by 1,200dpi, 8-bit resolution (equivalent to 1,200 x 3,600 dpi). A choice of print controllers is also available including Develop's own embedded IC-603 print controller. Alternatively the embedded EFI IC-417 controller, EFI IC-313 external controller and the external Creo IC-314 controller are available as options.

Operation has also been simplified with IWS (Internal Web Server) support so the user interface can be customised to suit individual operator requirements. Open API (application programming interface) support provides a seamless interface between these systems and third-party solutions. The ability to print from and scan to a USB stick is particularly convenient if customers come into a commercial print shop or in-house print room with their file on a stick.
