DMSL to sponsor Synaxon MSP gathering

DMSL has been announced as the lead for the Synaxon channel services group's MSP group meeting, which takes place in Hinckley next week.   The distributor will be at the meeting to promote its wide range of connectivity options and VoIP options from BT and Gamma. The meeting will bring together the 60 businesses that have now signed up for Synaxon's SynMSP membership, which provides dedicated support for growing managed services businesses.   John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL said, "to deliver managed services effectively, you need great connectivity and the SynMSP gathering is the ideal for us to put the fast, reliable, stable solutions we offer into the spotlight. We've got a great working relationship with many Synaxon members and we'd like to build on that partnership and develop even more within the SynMSP community."   Derek Jones, Chairman of Synaxon UK said, "for many if not most of our members now, managed services are a key strategic play. By becoming part of the SynMSP community, they can learn about best practices and new opportunities, forge new and positive partnerships and learn from their peers."   DMSL has continued to see its sales flourish in recent months, and John believes this is down to the continuing move towards the cloud and managed services and the subsequent rising importance of connectivity.

He added, "we have seen resellers doing some quite big deals with nationwide or big regional companies. We are seeing more companies switching to hosted voice as well- there is certainly no shortage of opportunity and for MSPs, connectivity and VoIP are an ideal add-on sale, so we have is plenty to offer Synaxon's SynMSP members."

The SynMSP members meeting will take place on Thursday 14th March at the Jury's Inn hotel, Hinckley.

Role of AI in customer service teams' mental wellbeing
In recent times, employee wellbeing has been on the top of the agenda for both employees and employers, and the pandemic has brought it even further into the spotlight. As reported by the World Health Organization (WHO), poor health reduces national GDP by 15 per cent, almost twice the 8 per cent hit to GDP that the pandemic itself has had. Therefore, it’s unsurprising that improving mental health has become a key focus for senior leaders.

Industrial automation makes way for information automation
Today, most manufacturing processes are automated on some level, and only growing more so. But can the same be said for our cognitive activities and information-related processes? Collecting, analysing, and extracting value from data is surely the next step in optimising industrial processes, yet the way it is currently treated in terms of technological investment and prioritisation would suggest otherwise. This is according to Jason Chester, Director of Global Channel Programs, InfinityQS.
