Distributor, DMC Business Machines, has recently embarked on a Giving Back initiative along with remanufactured toner brand, planitgreen.
The companies are supporting Starlight Children's Foundation who grant once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously and terminally ill children. Both DMC and planitgreen have worked closely with Starlight Children's Foundation for four years and have already donated more than £23,000.
In this new initiative, for every planitgreen toner sold, there is a 25 pence on-the-box donation to Starlight Children's Foundation. DMC are welcoming support from their customers, friends and family with the aim of raising £10,000 before planitgreen's fifth birthday next March.
In order to reach their target, DMC staff will be organising a number of fundraising activities and sporting events.
With the target of £2,500 per quarter, DMC donation will be enough to purchase 25 Starlight Distraction Boxes filled with sensory toys, games and puzzles to help the children cope with the various medical procedures and treatments that they endure on a daily basis.
