• Data Direct appoints new Business Development Manager

        • Data Direct has appointed Derek Neil as Business Development Manager. Derek Neil joins Data Direct from Olivetti after 15 years, where his most recent role has been supporting its dealer business partners with account, sales and product management. 

          Derek Neil’s appointment further strengthens the commercial front-line at Data Direct. The company has brought new opportunities to market during the past year, with safer-workplace solutions, new brands and extended choice in the core copier and print business. It has also increased its portfolio of printers, air quality solutions and audio-visual equipment. 

          Derek said, “having supported the Olivetti dealers for the past 15 years with account management and product support, I am excited to be joining the business as it goes from strength to strength, allowing firstly the joint Olivetti and Data Direct dealers continuity through the Olivetti change of business model, and secondly maximising the Data Direct portfolio within these dealers.”

          Marianne Chamberlain, Sales Director added, “it’s great to have Derek on board as we look to add more choice with products and solutions to support our market place. Derek comes with excellent experience with the Olivetti brand and his appointment demonstrates our commitment to deliver a seamless transition with the change in the UK Olivetti business model.”
