Dams Furniture receives ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certifications

When Dams Furniture opened its new upholstery factory earlier this year which brought its manufacturing and assembly together on one large site in Knowsley, Liverpool, the company made a strategic decision to upgrade its quality management and environmental management systems to the latest ISO standards.

ISO 9001 helps businesses prove their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. In line with Dams Furniture's goal to build a sustainable business, the ISO 14001 accreditation ensures that its UK manufacturing operations meet the latest standard requirements, helping to supply environmentally sound solutions, reduce carbon footprint, better manage waste and air emissions, and reduce energy and water consumption.
