• CompTIA to host Channel Community event for commercial growth

        • CompTIA will bring tech leaders together in Bristol this month at its UK Channel Community (UKCC) Meeting to discuss the future of the industry, share ground-breaking theories and inspire innovation.

The meeting, taking place on 25th and 26th of June at The Bristol Hotel, will see industry leaders in technology come together to discuss key issues in the industry, and look ahead to what the next 12 months may hold. The event will also provide a space for participants to learn more about both utilising tech and conducting business in the digital world.

Alongside breakout sessions that delve into the importance of business strategy for IT companies, the event boasts a line-up of high-profile keynote speakers including Stefan Thomas, author of Business Networking for Dummies; tech business guru R. Michael Anderson; and Ian Thornton-Trump, Head of Cybersecurity at Amtrust International.

Stefan’s keynote will focus on the importance of networking, and how a business can be transformed by the right connections at the right time.

          R. Michael’s keynote speech will explore the essential leadership secrets that all CEOs need to know, lessons he has learned as he has built up his business from founding, scaling, and selling three Enterprise Software.

Ian will lead a keynote on the subject of cybersecurity in the modern era, entitled ‘The Times They Are a Changin’ for Companies and MSPs.’ In addition to this, the meeting will feature a number of workshops, seminars, and discussions on a wide range of business-related topics, ranging from corporate collaboration to best business practices. The Marketing Genius Café will also offer an opportunity for attendees to get 1-on-1 advice on how best to market their brand.

Estelle Johannes, Director, Member Communities at CompTIA said, “CompTIA’s community meetings bring the UK channel together to discuss common issues and look for joint solutions to strengthen our industry.

“We’re incredibly excited to have Michael, Stefan and Ian join us as keynote speakers at our Bristol event. As the driving force behind successful tech companies, they each bring a unique approach to tackling the sector’s biggest challenges.”
