The Climb of Life (COL), the industry’s major charity fundraiser for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), takes place on Friday 8th November 2019 and Channel Info is, once again, a main media sponsor. The theme this year is 2 Million Steps forward in the battle against Cancer, with all the trekkers taking part looking to rack up 2 million steps between them on the day
We need your support to help raise valuable funds for the wonderful ICR and the fantastic work they do. This year, Channel Info's Jon Morton will be taking on the challenging trek for the second time and would be very grateful for your support:
“This year’s fundraising has particular relevance for me personally. As some of you will know, my wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer earlier this year and has now, I’m pleased to say, successfully completed a course of treatment. It is thanks to the fantastic work from organisations like the ICR, that treatment was available for her and many others like her. One-third of the UK population will suffer with cancer at some point, which is why the work done by the ICR is so important.”
The ICR is seen as one of the most successful organisations in the world for making discoveries that help create more and better drugs to help defeat cancer. Any amount, however big or small, will make a difference.
