BT Wholesale launches Complete Mobile deal for partners

BT Wholesale has announced that, following successful partner trials, members of its Partner Plus programme can now exclusively sell EE SIMs.

The latest addition to BT Wholesale’s channel portfolio, called Complete Mobile, marks the first time that EE connectivity will be available to enterprise resellers via a direct channel model with BT Wholesale.

With 59 per cent of British business owners regarding their mobile phone as the most essential item to running their company, even over laptops, Complete Mobile enables access to EE’s 4G and 5G networks.

Jim Clapham, Operations and Mobile Workforce Director at Lister Communications said, “from the first day we were introduced to our BT Wholesale account manager, we have had excellent communication on the progress of the EE SIM launch. We were looking for a simple and flexible mobile proposition to offer our customers, from SMEs to local authorities, and so we were delighted to be given the opportunity to become a trialist for the new SIM.

“BT Wholesale listened to our 22 years of experience in providing wholesale mobile and adapted product features such as roaming to suit our needs and the market’s needs. They’ve taken time to test the whole offering, from the provisioning and pricing through to marketing, to ensure we – and they – were ready to launch to our customers.”

Complete Mobile is built by the channel, for the channel, and is a result of a collaboration between BT Wholesale and several of its Partner Plus members, including (but not limited to) Lister Communications, Comms Connect, and Calteq.

Gavin Jones, Channel Partners Director at BT Wholesale added, “most UK businesses see mobile as a vital communications tool. With Complete Mobile added to our portfolio of products and services, our channel partners can lock in their customers, who can now get all their connectivity needs from one supplier. Complete Mobile gives partners a new edge to their offerings. In addition, they’ll have direct access to our mobile specialists, and all the tools, resources, and support they need.

“BT Wholesale is committed to equipping our partners with the best possible solutions and services. I believe Complete Mobile demonstrates the importance of working together closely with our partners to help supercharge their growth.”

EE was the first network provider to launch 5G in the UK with 65 per cent of the UK population able to use its 5G services.  The company said it is aiming to expand coverage to 90 per cent of the UK landmass with 5G by 2028, complete with requestable, on-demand solutions. For Wholesale partners, EE connectivity means benefiting from features such as SIM-only, on flexible terms, and unlimited calls and texts as standard.
