Bisley has announced it has moved to the heart of Clerkenwell, the home of the UK’s design community, with its new Dallington Street showroom.
The new space will showcase Bisley’s full portfolio, demonstrating solutions to create office landscapes for every kind of work. The design, by Bisley’s Showroom and Interior Designer Jeanine Goddard, looks to define the working environment by using storage in a different way.
Jeanine said “(the space) incorporates all of the latest knowledge in space planning and research into office user needs, applying the latest products Bisley has developed to support those requirements. It's a flexible space that will allow Bisley to grow and adapt to changing market requirements. It's also a space that may be surprising to customers who have not followed.
“(Offering) Bisley's latest product developments and a space that the employees can identify with and feel at home in. The emphasis was on creating a choice of spaces with different sizes, postures and technical equipment for the users. Lighting, acoustics, textures, graphics and colours have been used to support the flow of the space and its story.”
The space showcases Bisley’s design and finish capabilities, boasting a boardroom finished in an assortment of oaks, a lounge area with tones of yellow, a hot-desking area in sea-greens, a consultation area and cool whites in a quiet corner.
Mike Dye, Director of Sales added, “this move is so important for our brand; it will give us the ability to really grow our business. Being in Clerkenwell means we’ll be able to meet far more potential customers and build closer relationships with existing contacts. We’ll have the opportunity to be involved in more projects at an earlier stage and demonstrate how critical good storage is in any office fit-out.
“2018 is going to be a tremendous year for Bisley, with new showrooms in Madrid, London, New York and Paris. And our Dubai and Ireland showrooms will be refurbished also. These new spaces are going to be the best environments in which to show our ever evolving furniture and storage offering.”
The Bisley team look fondly back on their 20 years at Great Portland Street, while looking excitedly forward to welcoming contacts old and new to their new home in Clerkenwell and a new era for the company.
