BIC joins leading brands as a National Stationery Week sponsor

National Stationery Week (NSW) has announced that leading stationery brand BIC will be joining its line-up of sponsors as it celebrates its fifth year.

Organised by the London Stationery Show, NSW will take place between 25th April- 1st of May with its theme of 'Writing Matters'. BIC will be joining current sponsors, Sheaffer, Maped Helix, NU Notebooks, and Staedtler in a bid to celebrate the written word and all things stationery.

Jonathan Skyme, GM at BIC UK and Ireland said, "last year saw the launch of our #JustWrite campaign to promote the benefits of handwriting and making it accessible to the nation, which was marked by a series of activities across the UK. We have even bigger plans in place for #JustWrite Day this year and are delighted to announce our partnership with National Stationery Week."

Chris Leonard-Morgan, founder of NSW said, "to have BIC as a new sponsor of the campaign right at the beginning of 2016 is very exciting as they believe passionately like us in the importance of everyone, from and early age, being able to write. Each year we embark on a new journey with National Stationery Week and for 2016 we are focusing on why writing matters."

Last year a record number of high streets and online retailers backed the campaign to boost sales and World Stationery Day was launched for the first time during the Week which will fall on Wednesday 27th April this year.
