A strong platform has been put in place by one of the channel’s newest companies to help resellers ‘go beyond’ and capitalise on the latest connectivity trends this year.
2019 saw the launch of Beyond Connectivity, a new company formerly Nimans Network Services which offers a host of services such as mobile, connectivity, hosted, M2M, mobile device management, support and SIP services - to provide resellers with a real opportunity for growth.
Graham Wilkinson, Head of Sales said, “the brand has been very well received. On the back of nationwide roadshows people now fully understand it’s much more than just a new name, there’s an ethos about why we have done it.
“There’s new technology coming and people can see what Beyond stands for. It’s a vision and a strong platform has been put in place for us to build on.”
Graham predicts FTTP (Fibre To The Premise) and 5G are going to have a bigger impact throughout 2020, whilst the advent of smart cities and IoT will further drive the connectivity arena.
He said, “I think the full impact of 5G won’t be felt for at least another 18 months. A new iPhone will fuel demand but at the moment only selected towns and cities can take advantage.”
He also highlighted how the industry breathed a collective sigh of relief with no free Broadband from Labour now going to happen, following the General Election result.
He added, “there’s no hung parliament and coalition and voters realised Labour’s plans didn’t stack up. This year will be a year of progression and stability as the shackles of the last few years due to Brexit uncertainty are hopefully finally removed. Exciting and interesting times lie ahead with further challenges too.”
