Relying on the benefits of the UDX platform, Barco is now launching a brand-new compact, light-weight, and rugged 22K laser projector.
With its 50 kilograms, the latest Barco projector is the lightest 22K laser projector on the market. But while the slim design minimises installation time and reduces shipping and labour costs, it doesn’t compromise on brightness levels, colour reproduction or image quality.
Outperforming the Rec. 709 colour space, the UDM has the widest colour spectrum for 22K laser phosphor projection in the industry. And with Barco Pulse’s proprietary Single Step Processing technology, warping, scaling and 4K UHD processing is done in only one step which results in sharper images, market leading lowest latency and less dark time than comparable solutions.
In addition, Barco’s UDM is a champion in flexibility. Barco’s Flex2, for example, allows owners to tune and lock brightness and resolution levels for a specific show. The new projector also has at its disposal a 90° Ultra-short Throw lens, a motorised rental frame, or a fibre card solution for 4K distribution over long distances. These enable superior quality in the most diverse setups without complicating the installation process.
The integrated Barco Pulse technology offers an intuitive interface and flexible, user-friendly embedded control software. Furthermore, the UDM is fully optimised for fast troubleshooting and cloud-based fleet management. At the same time, its clever and modular design supports fast and easy maintenance in the field.
