Armor Office Printing obtains the Blue Angel ecolabel

Armor Office Printing has just received the German ecolabel Blue Angel under the new RAL-UZ 177 standard for thirteen of its remanufactured laser cartridges.

The ecolabel cartridges within the OWA range currently account for more than 70% of Armor Office Printing turnover.

OWA now has 3 recognised ecolabels with the Blue Angel, NF Environment and Ecolabel Nordic. The company says that by the end of February 2017, 94 additional new laser products will be certified Ecolabel Nordic and that they are fully committed to further sustainable development.

The Blue Angel label is awarded to low-pollution cartridges which offer high levels of performance in terms of autonomy and print quality. It therefore combines the guarantee of product excellence and printer compatibility alongside compliance with health and safety standards. Products with the Blue Angel label must be of at least 75% recycled material (50% for the packaging), may not contain toxic substances or heavy metals and must be part of an integrated collection system.
