AF’s Anti-Bac+ range proven efficacy against Coronavirus

AF International has confirmed that its Anti-bac+ range of products demonstrate efficacy against the coronavirus (WN-CoV/2019-nCoV) currently making headlines around the world.

The Wuhan coronavirus can also be known as 'novel coronavirus (nCoV)' and '2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)'. This rapidly evolving virus is a strain from the same family as 'Middle-East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV)' and for that responsible for the SARS outbreak back in 2003. Identified in early January 2020, this particular strain (novel coronavirus) requires urgent measures to effectively contain the spread of this deadly virus.

Hand and surface sanitation are integral elements of helping to reduce the spread of the virus and AF's Anti-bac+ range can be trusted to reduce the risk. The use of specialist wipes to sanitise surfaces and hand rub, for use after the usual washing process is essential. The spread of the virus may be through surface contamination and/or airborne and the methods of transmission are subject to investigation. Coronaviruses by their very nature have a low resistance to disinfection and providing that they are used effectively, AF's Anti-bac+ range are capable of removing potential contamination with the virus from hands and surfaces.

AF International has developed a highly effective range of antibacterial products that kill up to 99.99 per cent of deadly viruses such as novel coronavirus (nCoV) and are also effective against HIV, SARS, E Coli, Ebola, Candida Albicans, P.Aeruginosa, S.Aureus, E.Hirae Influenza, Rubella, Measles and  Rabies.

One key feature of AF's wipes is the contact time with the screen or surface being sanitised. This effectively means that AF's antibacterial wipes have full efficacy after just thirty seconds of use after which the wipe should be disposed of safely. AF's full range of Anti-bac+ products have successfully been tested and approved to standards EN1276, EN 14476:2013 + A1:2015, EN1500, EN16615 and EN1650 by an approved laboratory.

AF's range of antibacterial products features a re-sealable tub of 50 Anti-bac+ Sanitizing Surface Wipes ABSCW50T, suitable for a wide variety of surfaces such as desk phones, keyboards, sports equipment, communal areas and much more. The wipes are a thick, premium quality and should be disposed of safely after use. The range also includes a re-sealable tub of Anti-bac+ Sanitizing Screen Wipes ABSCR60T. The tub contains 60 paper-based impregnated wipes to remove bacteria and viruses from laptop, monitors, TV screens and more.

In addition to the wipes, AF International have developed a fast-acting Anti-bac+ Sanitizing Hand Rub ABHHR500. This generous 500ml pump bottle of hand rub effectively and safely sanitizes hands within two minutes of use, following usual hand washing.
