• WECARE4 becomes ARMOR six years after its acquisition

        • In 2010, cartridge specialist WECARE4 was acquired by the French company ARMOR but kept its name to preserve brand recognition. A definitive name change has now been announced, changing WECARE4 into ARMOR.

It was felt that the growing awareness of the ARMOR name meant that the official name switch could be made without loosing the trust of the client base. Since the acquisition, sales in Northern Europe have been developed, a region in which WECARE4 had already a strong presence. A strong focus has also been made to fully integrate the two companies including integrating operating systems, expertise, and policies of both organisations.

ARMOR Office Printing originally chose WECARE4 as a partner for its expertise and leadership in remanufactured inkjet technology. With the acquisition, ARMOR Office Printing became a European leader for the 3 alternative printing cartridges technology, becoming a single source efficient supplier for all European customers.

This name change will have no impact on the company’s Dutch customers and the team will continue to provide top quality products, great savings and the best services for the WECARE4 brand or private labels.
