• UTAX (UK) reports six years of constant growth

        • Dealer network, UTAX (UK), has reported six years of double-digit increase in turnover year on year, including an increase in turnover for the year 2015-6 of 10.2%

          UTAX (UK)’s Managing Director, Shaun Wilkinson, along with his Financial Controller, Kevin Good, put the success down to ten years of focusing on reinvestment and dealer growth. This year, the company also initiated a programme aimed at giving the UTAX dealer channel the widest possible access to product knowledge and training.

          Shaun Wilkinson said, “we believe through our own internal market analysis that the cross market sales of Mono A3 MFPs have effectively shrunk by almost 30% over the last three years. However, UTAX (UK) sales in this sector are up by 35% which suggests an awareness of the reliability and speed of our models. It’s a similar story in the Mono A4 MFP and Colour MFPs markets.

          UTAX now have 57 employees with appointments including, Kevin Budd and Steve Hickson who have filled the two newly created Business Development Manager roles, and appointments in the Technical and Direct Service departments, aimed at maintaining UTAX‘s customer satisfaction levels.

          Kevin Good, UTAX’s Financial Controller added, “the consistent results that we generate are testament to the reinvestment we continue to make in providing a complete portfolio of solutions for both our Partners and their customers. Managed print services, bespoke software packages for both complex and SME networks and all with a focus on security and after sales care lie at the heart of the results.”

          Shaun has further shown commitment to his UTAX Partners and their businesses with the acquisition of over 60 accounts during the last year, as well as opening a new London Technology Suite in Wembley earlier this year.

          Shaun concluded, “thanks to the commitment of our UK-wide team and the support of our Partners. We’ve had another successful year which has also been helped by a significant increase in A3 colour sales which has contributed to many of our Partners’ business growth.”
