This Christmas, UKFast is opening up its 500-seat auditorium for a one-off screening of festive favourite Elf, starring Will Ferrell, for local youngsters.
Drinks, popcorn and a festive atmosphere will all be provided inside UKFast’s new auditorium at UKFast Campus in Hulme, for families living with disadvantage in the area.
School groups, charity projects and individual families who are having a tough time are welcome to join Buddy the elf and a host of Christmas Helpers on Thursday 13th December from 1pm.
Over summer, UKFast played host to more than 1500 children across four cinema screenings – playing Moana, The Greatest Showman, Avengers: Infinity War and an autism-friendly screening of finding Nemo.
Gail Jones, UKFast MD said, “taking the family to the cinema is an expensive treat these days, one that is often out of reach for many families struggling to make ends meet over the festive period.
“Having seen how well received our Summer Cinema Club was, it made perfect sense to open up our campus again to celebrate the festive season and spread some cheer. With our new auditorium, we have the facilities to provide an amazing experience for hundreds of children and we’re incredibly excited to see everyone and enjoy a true Christmas classic.”
The Christmas Cinema Club comes as part of UKFast’s drive to support disadvantaged children in Greater Manchester, which has so far seen the firm donate 5000 volunteering hours to various charities and 20,000 meals to tackle Holiday Hunger.
Schools, groups and families can register their interest here.
This Christmas, UKFast is supporting the Wood Street Mission in its campaign to provide thousands of children with presents that would not otherwise have received gifts.
