Tech Data extends power management portfolio with Eaton

Tech Data has extended its range of power management solutions by signing a distribution agreement with Eaton, a supplier of energy-efficient solutions for data centres and critical systems.

With immediate effect, the complete Eaton range of UPS Backup Power and Monitoring products will be available from Tech Data, as well as a comprehensive choice of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), which includes DC power solutions, surge protection and monitoring devices.

David Oddie, IT Channel Manager, Eaton said, "organisations are now increasingly dependent on their IT and power protection is more vital to infrastructures than ever before. This agreement between Eaton and Tech Data will give resellers in the UK and Ireland the opportunity to integrate Eaton's power management solutions into their complete value propositions and provide added protection for their customers most critical systems."

Eaton power solutions also help customers to manage their overall power consumption and meet environmental goals without compromising the safety of their business-critical architecture and systems.
