Family run office supplies firm, Tangent Office Resources, has won the award for ‘Dealer Excellence’ at the recent 2017 BOSS Awards.
The award, for Dealer Excellence in the under £5 million turnover category, was announced in front of a 400-strong crowd at the 2017 BOSS Awards, organised by the BOSS Federation.
Judges were impressed with Tangent’s customer service focus, local community involvement, innovation and its robust disaster recovery plan, following a fire at its Orpington premises three years ago.
This is Tangent’s second national award of the year, following its success at its dealer group Integra’s awards, earlier in the year, when it was named Member of the Year. Tangent was also awarded Regional Family Business of the Year in the FSB/Worldpay Awards.
Chandra Sharma, Tangent MD said, “we are thrilled to have received this prestigious award from the BOSS Federation. This is the second national award that we have received this year. Awards such as these are very important for small businesses such as ourselves as, hopefully, they give us credibility and recognition. This is extremely important when competing against the larger companies and contract stationers.”
Tangent Office Resources has recently extended its range to include personalised workwear, having invested in new embroidery and vinyl printing machines. The company offers a quick, personalised service with no minimum order and next day delivery
Going into the New Year, Tangent will be exhibiting at the Start Up 2018 Business Expo on 18th January 2018 at the new Desk Team building in Elmers End, Beckenham. The event sees 20 handpicked companies showcasing the help available to people thinking of starting their own business or starting over an existing company.
