Staedtler launches major sampling programme
Staedtler is promoting its popular 308 pigment liner, a premium quality drawing and sketching pen, with a massive sampling campaign this summer.
10,000 samples of the pen will be offered in the busy run-up to the new school and college term. Positioning the 308 as 'the ideal tool for graphic art', the promotion features Johanna Basford, an exciting artist who has just completed a unique and highly interactive artwork entitled Wonderbeasts.
Available in nine line widths from 0.05mm to 0.8mm, the 308 pigment liner from Staedtler contains lightfast, waterproof pigmented ink and can be left uncapped for 18 hours without drying out. It can be bought singly or in a desktop box of four.
Johanna says: "308s are the only pens I consistently use in my artwork. For me, they are the fundamental tools of my trade."
The campaign follows the same format as last year's, which focused on the fact that the 308 pigment liner was also the preferred medium of the famous cityscape artist, Stephen Wiltshire.
