• Spicers Alliance launched to dealers with first roadshow

        • Following news of Spicers’ recent new investments and structure, the wholesaler has held its first event in series of regional road shows, officially launching the Spicers Alliance. Held at Spicers’ Greenwich RDC on Tuesday 8th November, the day received an ‘overwhelming response’.

          The road shows comprised of three events held regionally in the North, South and the Midlands, affording dealers the opportunity to attend an event local to them. The Greenwich event was split into two sessions to cater for everyone and the presentation, led by SPOT Group’s board of Directors, covered an update on the marketplace and future projections, as well as introducing the Alliance proposition.

          The presentation was followed by a tour of each warehouse, showcasing the recent refurbishments that look to support dealers’ capability to stock and deliver from multiple distribution centres. Guests then enjoyed a networking lunch with the opportunity to explore the elements of Alliance further with an exhibition provided by leaders of each key part.

          Jeff Whiteway, Group CEO said, “these roadshows were the perfect way to launch our latest service offering that will really drive our customers’ sales and grow their profitability. It was great to see such an impressive take up and just goes to show how many of our dealers are keen to explore ways to take action and adapt for the future.”

          The Alliance programme challenges dealers to future proof their businesses, and provides a number of solutions to help them reduce costs and increase profits, whilst opening up new opportunities with specialist sales support, to move into new product sectors, such as Print, MPS, Workwear, Workplace, and Document Management. The programme is also backed by marketing support that aims to connect dealers with end-users.

          The Spicers Alliance focuses on nine key areas to help a dealer grow their business and protect themselves against future threats. With the Alliance, dealers have the benefit of Spicers as their solely dedicated supply chain partner as well as access to their extensive stock selection.

          Due to the high demand of places at the launch events, Spicers will be holding a further event in Greenwich early next year.
