Spicers achieves 10% rise in facilities supplies sales

Since Spicers launched its revised facilities supplies publication, it has seen growth of 10 per cent in this category. Some dealers have also achieved growth of 30 per cent in this area after benefitting from support from Spicers' facilities supplies consultants to target key opportunities.

Following this success, Spicers is investing even further in its facilities supplies range. A further 1,700 new lines are being brought into stock. These will be launched in Spicers' facilities supplies catalogue, scheduled for release in October. Spicers supporting dealers will also have access to sales and marketing support to help drive sales of these products.

Jeff Whiteway, SPOT Group CEO said, "facilities supplies is a key area of development for us and our customers. Our investment is geared towards giving our dealers a strong supply platform for this category alongside their traditional office supplies. By giving them access to a wider selection of stocked products for through-the-night delivery to the dealer's premises or next day delivery to their end user customers, whilst supporting the dealer to sell more effectively.

"We're helping dealers to drive sales and margin growth across a wider basket of goods. This is key in helping dealers grow their accounts and, in turn, foster loyalty as their clients' one-stop solution."
