Sharp expands A3 and A4 Mono line-up with 13 new models

Sharp has added thirteen new MFP models, two to its A4 mono portfolio and eleven to its A3 mono CR4.5 range.

The thirteen new models have speeds ranging from 26 to 60ppm, offer a host of productivity functions, best-in-class security enhancements and the same workflow features and user interface common across the Sharp range.

The new models all deliver security features, such as a firmware attack prevention and a self-recovery capability, which can identify a malicious intrusion and restore the machine firmware to its original state. An application whitelisting feature will also protect the machine's file system from unauthorised access. Additionally, administrators can centrally manage select settings at the device using Active Directory Group Policy.

The range of new Mono MFPs are designed to suit a variety of office layouts and integrate with today's connected workplace, enabling simple and quick access to an expanded list of cloud services including Box and Dropbox. Integration to existing network applications and public cloud services means information can be securely shared and accessed anywhere, anytime, helping to increase productivity.

The inclusion of the latest Adobe technology, the Adobe Embedded Print Engine (AEPER), gives users greater accuracy and performance when directly printing PDF files from the network, cloud, or portable USB drives.

In addition, Sharp's Application Portal allows administrators to easily add new applications and update existing ones directly from the touchscreen on the machine. The new models are also equipped with enhanced productivity features, such as the ability to feed multiple envelopes from the standard or bypass paper drawer.

Ben Lake, Senior Product Manager, Sharp Document Solution said, "office environments are changing and evolving, and Sharp's most competitive portfolio of MFPs mean businesses now have a complete range to choose from to meet their changing office needs. The range has been expanded to bring Sharp's award-winning common user interface, best-in-class security and enhanced productivity features to an even larger number of devices."

The models are available to buy now from Sharp and its partners and more information can be found here.
