Ricoh positioned in Gartner Magic Quadrant for MWS market

Ricoh has announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in its 2019 Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe report.

Gartner evaluated 16 providers, including Ricoh, in the Managed Workplace Services (MWS) market. Amongst other criteria, Ricoh was evaluated for completeness of vision and ability to execute in the managed workplace services (MWS). As a result, Ricoh has been included in the Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe.

According to Gartner, "Gartner defines managed workplace services (MWS) as a subset of the IT outsourcing (ITO) market. MWS includes traditional end-user outsourcing (EUO) as well as new digital workplace services to provide cloud-first, automated and integrated support to end users. EUO services include: 1. Service desk, 2. Desktop/laptop outsourcing services, for both physical and virtual devices, 3. Mobility services, to manage mobile devices and tablets. MWS is centred on delivering a digital workplace experience that promotes the digital dexterity of end users, boosting employee engagement and agility through a more consumer driven work environment, and increasing employee retention."

David Mills, CEO, Ricoh Europe said, "we believe Ricoh has been recognised in the Magic Quadrant because of the continued evolution of our services business and our ability to anticipate the changing needs of our customers. We consider this as recognition of how we support change in customers' working culture to drive organisational and individual agility. Ultimately, by enabling collaboration in the office and the field through AI, analytics and IoT, we feel that we are able to empower digital workplaces and provide customers with a robust and reliable service."

Alberto Mariani, Senior Vice President of Office Services, Ricoh Europe added, "we believe that Gartner's comments highlight the high levels of customer satisfaction with our workplace analytics, contextualization of knowledge and walk-up support services, demonstrating Ricoh's unwavering focus on our customers' business priorities.  We also feel that the comments also highlight our success in adding value with new digital tools such as providing insight from data and analytics, which modernise traditional services."
