Record attendance for 3rd Plug In To Exertis

Exertis has announced that its third Plug In To Exertis channel event attracted 1,250 visitors. Held at Silverstone Circuit, the event featured 116 vendors with four dedicated areas focused on business, AV, enterprise and consumer solutions. A record number of 740 resellers and retailers attended. Christian Horner OBE, Team Principal at Red Bull Racing Formula One Team, was the guest speaker.

Paul Bryan, Exertis UK&I, Managing Director said, "this proved to be a great event for our customers with the opportunity to see the diverse range of technologies that we offer and hear about our Exertis services that add great value to our resellers and retailers. Our seminar programme was particularly strong and well attended with a variety of interesting topics and our purpose-built Smart Home demonstrated why we are leaders in this area. Once again, I would like to thank our vendors for participating and our customers for spending the day with us."

Feedback from customers and vendors included:

Matthew Warner - Lenovo

"There's been plenty of partners coming around visiting the stand, bringing plenty of opportunities. It's been an ideal day for us today."

Jeffery Linton - WiFi UK

"This was something that was needed a very long time ago. It's like being in a candy shop, you've got all these different vendors and all their kit and we are glad to be a part of it."

Charles Tack – Probrand

"Some of the new technology that is out there that I haven't really considered before and I'm looking for opportunities to deploy that with some of my customers. I've made some really good connections."

Chris Smith – LG Electronics

"Normally the customers are so used to seeing these products online, so to give them the ability to actually come, touch, feel, see how thin OLED is and see how slim the video wall bezel is, it's great for us. We've had some new customers, some good leads and some possible projects to work on straight away which is always great for an event."

Andy Hutchinson – Lamps, Electrical Wholesaler

"We've picked up some new information and some new products and some new suppliers which is the reason why we came here of course - to network and to see what else is out there which is going to help our business, so I think we have achieved that today."

Antonia Dickinson - BOX.co.uk

"It's been really good to see the consumer side of the technology industry, the smart home, the gaming piece as well as B2B and audio visual - a good mix of technologies."
