Pilot Pen Company in new sponsorship deal

The Pilot Pen Company has announced that it is now the official sponsor of the Best Solo Artist category, at this year's NME Awards with Austin, Texas.The brand has this week signed an agreement to sponsor the category at the star-studded awards evening, which will be held at  London's O2 Academy Brixton, on February 18th.

The sponsorship involves a full three-month campaign with extensive opportunities for the brand, and will allow Pilot to engage with 18-25 year old end consumers and online audiences through a series of competitions supported by both NME's social channels and the magazine.

Stuart Barker, Marketing Manager for Pilot, says: "This is an incredibly exciting collaboration for us. The NME Awards with Austin, Texas is a huge influencer and for us to sponsor such an important category will give us a lot of impact.

"We've chosen the Pilot FriXion as the sponsor so that we can continue raising brand awareness of the product range amongst a key demographic of 18-25 year old young professionals and students. 

Pilot's branding will feature on all calls for voting within the Best Solo Artist category on NME.com and across NME's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and within all marketing activity supporting the 2015 NME Awards with Austin, Texas, NME Awards Shows 2015 with Austin, Texasand NME Awards Tour 2015 with Austin, Texas. 

Contenders for the 2015 Best Solo Artist supported by Pilot FriXion are Jack White, St Vincent, Jamie T, Lana Del Rey, Jake Bugg and La Roux.
