Pentel adds Pointliner to arts range

Pentel is adding Pointliner, a new pigment ink drawing pen, to its Pentel arts range. Pointliner comes in a choice of five tip sizes, from an ultra-fine 0.05mm, ideal for intricate detailing, to a 0.8mm, which is perfect for shading larger areas with ink.

Suitable for drawing, sketching, illustrating and everyday writing, Pointliner is designed for a range of creative and craft projects. Supplied with black pigment ink, which is ISO certified water-resistant and lightfast, Pointliner can also be used for outlining with a variety of water and dye-based media, such as paints and colour pens.

The robust tip withstands a great deal of downward pressure, and the ink flows steadily, maintaining a consistent line without smudging.

Available in a 30-piece counter display or a five-piece wallet, featuring one of each tip size, Pentel's new Pointliner has a recommended retail price of £2.85 per pen.

Wendy Vickery, Pentel Marketing Manager said, "Pointliner is a versatile new pen that can be used for a wide range of creative projects and practical requirements, from sketching a pen portrait, to creating precise lettering in a bullet journal.  It's a welcome new member of our very popular, excellent quality and highly affordable range of Pentel Arts products and we're sure fans will enjoy experimenting with Pointliner and products such as our beautiful colour brushes.

"Pentel Arts offers retailers great opportunities to win new business, from consumers seeking fresh ideas and inspiration, from a familiar and trusted brand."

See Pointliner and other Pentel products at the Stationery Show London 2019 from 30th April to 1st May.
